It's been a revelation over the past twenty or so years to witness the growth of spirituality, the fact that in a few taps on a keyboard you can unearth knowledge that for hundreds of years was hidden.
In 1977 when I had my first encounters with the Merlin Energy it was of some of something that was from a distant galaxy, that appeared at irregular intervals to connect with me for some reason I didn't no why.
I always had difficulty with 'Merlin' as a name for the energy, and remember in the first Merlin book he says "for want of a name call me Merlin". When the energy overwhelms me it always feels bigger than the name.
In 2010 after a period of very deep depression in my life loosing control of all my work again for the second time, I became aware of subtle changes in the way the energy was working with me. For no reason I would be flooded by light and a waterfall of sparkling energy ran through my body, it was so intense with love that I could fall to my knees in awe at it's beauty.
There now seemed an urge to start talking about the art I had been creating over the past 27 years but my talking skills didn't match the expression I had in my heart to put over, I wasn't trusting in the energy like I had with my art.
A long time friend with NLP skills set to work on me and this triggered a huge shift in my perception of the world, he also introduced me to Adyashanti, Tony Parsons and Elkhart Tolle whose ideas and teachings mirrored what was occurring with me at the time.
As my perception changed so did the essence of the energy, it was as if it was expanding into infinity, it still felt magical but less mystical than before. The space I was working in was all encompassing now and beyond words. It felt that it was becoming larger than the Mage and when working on a friend who i was impressed with for her perception told me she felt impressed to tell me that the energy should now be called Dragon Energy, it sounded perfect and expressed both the mystical aspect, the ageless energy and it's potency.
I remembered that two people who can see, told me that they saw a great dragon as my power animal wrapped around me a few months earlier, so it felt fitting.
At the edge of awakening you encounter the fire of all your fears and I think the name fits perfectly to the new vibrational energy we are tapping into and await the evidence of it's powerful light.
